Presenter:
Albert Chung, Ph.D., PE with GSI Environmental Inc.
Presentation Summary:
Please join IEC/OC for an in-person luncheon where we will network and focus on sustainability-related initiatives to comply with California Senate Bill 219 (SB 219), also known as the Climate Corporate Data Accountability Act.
SB 219 will require many companies to publicly disclose a variety of climate-related metrics, such as greenhouse gas emissions (GHGs) and climate-related financial risk. For many companies that have not yet embarked on a publicly disclosed sustainability strategy, the requirements of this bill may seem ominous. This discussion will focus on what is required and present strategies to develop a pragmatic approach to creating a roadmap for compliance. This presentation will also highlight how businesses can better understand their relationship with the climate and discover practical ways to prepare for a more resilient future.
Admission (Lunch is included):
- IEC/OC Members: $55
- Guests: $65
- Registration after September 11, 2025: Add $10
