Topic:
Come join us for a special opportunity to tour the Orange County Sanitation District (OCSD) in Fountain Valley, California. OCSD is committed to upholding best practices in environmental responsibility and has been an industry leader in implementing policies that provide both sustainability and cost effectiveness. OCSD has adopted a variety of environmental policies and practices.
Attendees will have the opportunity to experience the following:
- Tour the OCSD
- Observe recycling and waste storage and disposal compliance.
- See Title V Air compliance, air scrubbers, AQMD/CARB Equipment.
- Learn about Wastewater NPDES ocean outfalls and Stormwater discharge compliance.
- Learn about their On-Site certified lab.
- Observe AST/UST and Oil/water separators.
- Maintenance and operation of above.

Tour Guidelines:
- Attendance is limited to 28 people.
- A box lunch will be provided.
- Registration is available to the first 28 IEC/OC Members who register by 9/14/2018.
- Cancellations cannot be refunded.
- Unpaid “No Shows” will be billed and must be paid.
Please be advised to respect the following safety guidelines. This is to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable tour.
- Shoes*: Completely covered walking shoes (e.g. tennis shoes or boots) are required for all tours. Sandals, flip-flops, open-toed, open-heeled, or hi-heeled shoes are not allowed.
- Clothing*: Pants and long sleeve shirts are recommended.
- Large Items: Backpacks, bags, books, etc. should remain in your vehicle. These types of items are not allowed on the tour.
- Disabilities or Medical Conditions: Please let us know if anyone in your group has any special needs so we can plan accordingly.
* Due to safety regulations, anyone arriving for the tour without proper footwear and clothing will not be allowed on portions of the tour.
Admission:
Employees of Member Companies/Agencies: $40 if registered by 9/14/18 (noon) or $50 before 9/18/18 (noon/registration cut-off).
Members bring a guest: Bring a non-member as a guest (@ the Member rate) and introduce them to IEC/OC!
Guests: $60 if registered by 9/14/18 (noon) or $65 before 9/18/18 (noon/registration cut-off).
Speakers: Complementary.
Fine Print:
Cancelled Reservations must be received by Noon on 9/17/18. Late Cancellations cannot be refunded. Unpaid “No Shows” will be billed and must be paid.
If you register, attend the September OCSD Tour and decide you want to BECOME A MEMBER of IEC/OC, IEC/OC will deduct the difference from the luncheon cost (between member and non-member) and apply to your membership dues.
